History: He was born in the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This man is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on his right hand. His silver crest is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gold eyes.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Being a Shoemaker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Description: This slender man stands about 3'1". He wears a white tunic with blue highlights, and long grey pants that bunch up around his shoes. His silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are a pleasant green.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Navigator, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Ploughman, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with green lining and desert motifs. Her long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep red.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Miller for the past few years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor
