Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Jane and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears grey leather gloves, a grey jacket, and tight pants. She keeps her black hair in a flapper bob. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady hazel eyes.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has worked as a Layabout like her mother before her.

She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Faral abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
