Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hobart was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: She hates drow. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Grigi lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Grigi was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.
