History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the south were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Shamil was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shamil decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
