In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Syllin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Syllin. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She became a Body Guard soon after.

History: Morthos lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fisher.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
