Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Katherine was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. A gifted student she started as a Tailor, but she got bored and became a Beggar. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out
