Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She found a children's book about a Tiefling Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.
