History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Margery grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Margery. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Anthony abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: This western woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. She wears a feathered hat to cover her moderate length white crest. Her fierce red eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
