Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the left. His violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Veit's homeland. Veit decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. After a long history of fighting, Veit and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: The child of a Ruler, who enjoyed hunting, Paela was taken on many hunting expeditions. She found a children's book about a Halfling Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
