History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
