Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her quarterstaff, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. She has blonde hair. Her eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a Actor, her mother struggled to pay the bills. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Portia alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Portia fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. When Paymon reached his early adolescence his Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears a tight fitting pastel shirt and pants. Her cinnamon fur is greasy and uncared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. The war was a terrible time for her, and Beast does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When Beast reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she feels kind of lost in life

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a brown vest and prefers green and grey shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, and is pretty ugly. His yellow fur is still thick. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Beast was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.
