History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. After a long history of fighting, Meriele and her spouse have recently divorced.

Through the years after Shadow was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north.
