History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered brigands who tried to eat her hand. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Beast fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away.
