History: Surina was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Surina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new dyer responsibilities is difficult
