History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Melissa took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up whip and armor she uses now. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Driindar is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of a Dyer, who enjoyed hunting, Driindar was taken on many hunting expeditions. Through the years after Driindar was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Driindar's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by her family; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has worked as a Masseuse like her father before her.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.
