She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
