History: River was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She became a Slave Trader soon after.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: Chaedi lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. After a long history of fighting, Chaedi and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
