Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Anne was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Anne decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. A true patriot, Seebo would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Seebo was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Biri lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: Jo speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She got into the Dyer business at a young age. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Jo and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
