Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Pelaios never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cimer grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
