Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Nurkara's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Marshal. He tends to his Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. Tiaathque is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and retire the richest woman in the east
