History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Rolen was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Vola took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up whip and armor she uses now. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
