History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gûndza grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Rieta was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Stableman. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
