She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: Quick was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Quick was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
