History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Beggar they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Masseuse, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: Gifted from a young age, Arava studied abroad. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dragonborns in Heskan's homeland. Heskan decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Mara's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and a rival would like her out of the picture
