The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Armorer. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gimurt was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Armorer for the past few years.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Beggar born in the past three hundred years. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She tends to her Beggar job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his yellow eyes.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 22. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Fragrant was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Fragrant's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
