History: Gurdis hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
