History: Arnold was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: She usually wears her tan robe and has her scimitar always slung over her shoulder. She carries with her a set of scimitars, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ulla embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. Ulla is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Ulla was born with her father's beautiful face. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she is wearing a long, green cloak. She has no crest. She has gleaming, smiling gold eyes.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Slave Trader hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. Barakas was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Barakas decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Marshal for hire.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. A friendly and beautiful Half-Orc, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Norsko was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Norsko's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
