He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Xappan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tabaxi artifacts is his passion.
