History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
