History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. During her travels, Surina and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Surina discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Surina fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
