History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed scimitar, just in case. He has done his best to style his white hair to look like a famous performer. His half smiles and green eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Fargas was born with his father's beautiful face. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep yellow leather and dull tan iron scale mail. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shane does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: 3'11" and muscular, this southern man wears a simple brown robe with pastel stripes complete with hood. His golden hair is matted, messy, and big. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in the south to a Farmer, Eberk learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Animal Trainer, but he got bored and became a Farmer. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to work out more often
