History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She's also a talented Tanner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Born to a Weaver, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mara grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mara. Being a Hunter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Gifted from a young age, Alain studied abroad. Alain was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Alain decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned.
