Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Shax's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
