He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ombul fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
