History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jebeddo was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Mason. She became a Mason soon after.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Shax's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Fortune-teller for the past few years.
