Description: She is a physically imposing light-skinned woman. She wears dark leathers with embroidery. Her black hair is heavily combed to the left. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Philomena is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Philomena grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Philomena. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat, and is pretty ugly. Her silver hair is braided into rings. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is a Dilettante first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She worked as a nervous Dilettante and found it very stressful. She's also a talented Seamstress, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: This woman is very fat, and prefers to wear flannel. Her scarlet crest is thinning but still full. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Jezean hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Jezean was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.
