Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Shanairla will drive conversation. She is a great chef.

History: Shanairla hails from a village terrorized by giants. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away; and revenge

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This woman wears a red shirt, with a black mid length skirt with black tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her chestnut hair is knotted and matted. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Motivation: Revenge; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'5" when asserting himself. He has a long chestnut beard with little hanging trinkets. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He got into the Doctor business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Doctor. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and balancing his hectic life and new doctor responsibilities is difficult
