Description: She is scrawny and has patchy red stubble. She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a grey coat. She has a hunchback. Her red hair has been sun bleached extensively. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Mary will drive conversation. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Mary is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: Mary was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His fur is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 71. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears tattered old clothes. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He wears his blonde hair down. His eyes are green and catlike.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He has all his life been fascinated with dancing.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his youth he was a Fortune-teller, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has wavy auburn hair. He has blue eyes and a grey hat with a white feather.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Mortician arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Charles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
