Personality: She is a Blacksmith first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He tends to wear a large black jacket. He has styled his white crest well, parting it to the right. His half smiles and red eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. A gifted student he started as a Barber, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He has worked as a Spice Merchant like his mother before him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and expand his business

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His copper crest is knotted and matted. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born in the east to a Barkeep, Pandjed learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He became a Barkeep soon after.

Motivation: To be a Sailor again.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is dark but he possesses many red ritualistic tattoos. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. Sporting a golden mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Howard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Navigator, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: This late middle aged man wears many layers of old clothing at all times and is in decent physical shape. His white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and his religion dominates his actions
