Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Matilda is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Matilda was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by her family

Description: 6'7" and muscular, this eastern woman wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. Her bronze crest is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. She has a dull look in her red eyes.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Antrara abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: She was born in a small forest village. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He wears a blue shirt with thin tan vertical stripes and grey pants, marred by teas. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

His skin is also unnaturally pale. With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker white hat.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Mason profession.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A gifted student he started as a Mason, but he got bored and became a Detective. He struck the Detective job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To be a Mason again; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult
