History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Tethren was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
