History: Hugh lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

History: He was born in the west. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Recently the stress of being a Knight has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born in the west to a Shipwright, Vanuath learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He tends to his Shipwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
