History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Now he works as a painting tutor during his time off.

She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
