History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Joan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is a Cartwright first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a Crown-heir, her father struggled to pay the bills. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She became a Cartwright soon after.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barkeep they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Barber, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A gifted student she started as a Seamstress, but she got bored and became a Mason. She now mingles about in high society.
