History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Tim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
