History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His first spouse was a Blacksmith, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: She is scrawny and has patchy silver stubble. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She has a hunchback. Her silver hair is greasy and uncared for. Her eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Traulam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Traulam grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Traulam. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in the west to a Knight, Yevelda learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She's also a talented Shepherd, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears black painted combat armor at almost all times. His crest is short and rusty. This gold eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Ghesh was born the youngest of three triplets. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.
