Through the years after Igden was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Igden's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sellsword. She has achieved small success as a Sellsword.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
