History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a robe, a symbol of her god around her neck, and a halberd on her belt, and is pretty ugly. Her tied-back hair is golden. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mardred embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Mardred was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Mardred and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to unite with her sister

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy auburn stubble. He is typically in his Navigator uniform. He has a hunchback. He keeps his long auburn hair kept up in a rat tail. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kelter does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Navigator business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Performer, but he got bored and became a Navigator. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a brown coat. Her long black hair reaches down to her waist. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are green.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and regain custody of her daughter

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). She has dyed her greying bronze crest a little too much giving a sharp bronze color. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Megren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Megren. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact
