History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Laucian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Laucian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Torbera was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Torbera's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born in a small plains village. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. After a long history of fighting, Biri and her spouse have recently divorced.
