Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Zaffrab studied abroad. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many giants want him driven away

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She has a large blue mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her yellow robe. She keeps her auburn hair in a pixie cut. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady green eyes.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born to a Shoemaker, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her parents enrolled her in a Monk school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: He tends to wear a violet poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his longsword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Description: Her left side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She is dressed in earthy colors with a black and grey handkerchief worn on her left side. Her hair, while still mostly blue, has prominent grey streaks. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She is a Painter first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor

Description: 4'9" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She wears dull black sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed shield, just in case. She wears her blue hair down. Her eyes are black and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She dropped out of school to support her sick father, and resented it. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
